Wellington Riding, June 2025
The team at Anmore Dressage travelled to the Wellington International Festival of Dressage this month, competing across the British Dressage Premier League and CDI1* classes. It was a rewarding week for our young horses, many of whom made their national or international debuts, offering a glimpse into the next generation of talent being developed under the Anmore system.
From first-time competitors to experienced riders producing at international level, the week reflected the care, consistency and progression at the heart of Anmore Dressage.
Rolo Builds Confidence in the 4-Year-Old Class
Rollercoaster (Rolo) continues to lay strong foundations in his early career. In the British Dressage 4-Year-Old class, he produced a soft, consistent test that showcased his rhythm and developing balance. Still gaining strength and experience, Rolo is showing all the qualities we look for in a young horse, and we were pleased with how he handled the atmosphere at a venue of this scale.
His performance is another positive step in his development under the guidance of the Anmore Dressage team.
Viktorious Anmore Impresses on Debut
Also in the 4-Year-Old division, Viktorious Anmore made his first ever competitive appearance—and did so with real maturity. His confident, rhythmical test earned a score of 77.8%, placing 2nd and qualifying him for the upcoming KBIS Young Horse Semi-Finals.
Still early in his training, Viktorious showed his natural ability and willingness to focus in the arena. For both horse and rider, it was an encouraging start to what promises to be an exciting career.
Romanno Weltino Steps onto the International Stage
The CDI1* marked a significant moment for Romanno Weltino (Princess) as she made her international debut. Starting with a strong test in the Prix St Georges, she built on that experience with a poised, elegant performance in the Inter I, finishing inside the top 10 of a competitive international field.
A small mistake in the canter section kept her from climbing further, but her composure and rideability stood out throughout. As one of the youngest horses in the class, this was a valuable experience and an important step in her development at CDI level.
Premier (Dutch) Wins FEI 5-Year-Old Final
A standout moment came from Premier (Dutch), who took first place in the FEI 5-Year-Old Final at the Premier League. This class also served as the World Breeding Championships Selection Trial for Verden 2025, where Premier’s expressive, balanced test was rewarded with high marks across all three paces.
His walk, in particular, was noted for clarity and ground cover, while his trot and canter reflected growing strength and maturity. This result marks a significant step in his journey and confirms his progress under the Anmore Dressage programme.
