Meet Rosefay Texel & Black Jack
At Anmore Dressage, we take on horses we believe in. Not because they tick boxes, but because they show something genuine — a good attitude, a clear way of going, and a willingness to learn.
Rosefay Texel and Black Jack are both in the early stages of their development. They’ve had consistent routines, correct handling, and the sort of calm exposure that builds trust and resilience. They’re now ready to continue their education with the right person alongside them.
Rosefay Texel
Rosefay is a beautifully put-together young mare with lovely natural mechanics and a confident, straightforward way of going. She offers balance, rhythm, and a quiet work ethic that makes her a pleasure to work with.
She’s forward-thinking without being sharp, and soft in the hand without needing to be held. Her gaits are correct, and she has a relaxed, positive outlook in and out of the stable.
Rosefay is the sort of young horse that quietly impresses more each time you sit on her. She’s suitable for a range of riders and would make a rewarding long-term partner.
Black Jack
Black Jack is an athletic, compact type with presence and power. He’s naturally active behind, with a big, open canter and a trot that already shows lift and cadence.
What makes him stand out is his attitude — alert but sensible, sharp enough to be interesting, but never tricky. He’s a horse that enjoys the work, takes things on quickly, and gives back what you put in.
With more strength and consistency coming every week, Black Jack is a great match for a confident rider looking to develop a competition horse from an early stage.
Thoughtfully Produced, Never Rushed
Both horses have been started within the Anmore system: handled daily, worked calmly, and never pushed before they were ready. They’re now at a point where the basics are well set and the next phase of their training can begin.
If you’re looking for a young dressage horse with quality, character, and proper foundations — Rosefay and Black Jack are worth a closer look.
